We are Ards Peninsula u3a

Retired and semi-retired people come together in u3a and learn together, not for qualifications but for enjoyment!

There is no lower age of membership, no qualifications are required and fees are kept to a minimum.

Members share their skills and life experiences, learners teach and teachers learn and there is no distinction between them.

It is a unique and exciting organisation that provides members of the community with life-changing opportunities.

Where?

Members come from the length and breadth of the Peninsula and beyond. You don’t have to live in the area to be a member.

Monthly meetings are held in towns and villages throughout the Peninsula.

Activity groups meet wherever the group decides. Walking, Horticulture, Days Out, and Lunch change locations each time they meet.

When?

Monthly open meetings are usually on the third Thursday of each month.

Some of our monthly meetings are ‘hybrid’ meetings offering the choice of attending in person or via Zoom.

Activity groups meet as and when it suits the group, weekly, fortnightly, or monthly.
